I was busy just before the start up of the game and just barely caught the announcers talking about this, but here is a short article on it if you missed it...

As a team they were final four quality. If Ronnie hadn’t gotten injured they would have had a chance to make it to the championship game.

Who's being negative? I think saying God is in your corner is a compliment to any sports team.

Totally agree. This was a huge win. Pulling an upset this weekend would be even HUGER!!! I can't stand Ohio State.

Thanks for reminding me and pointing out Hansen I had forgotten about him playing out here in Utah for the Jazz. In a conversation with the Jazz's BIG Center, Mark Eaton, Mark asked me about Bobby's career as an Iowa player.

I was on a Alaskan Cruise during the game. My wife was using some of our 150 free Wifi minutes to keep me on how the score was going. What's the latest honey? She logs on to the ships Wifi. 'Iowa up by one point in the second half.' No shit??? Then the bad news later on as she logs on...

The Gods were with Iowa this game. Dink and Dunk passes short of first down yardage is not a recipe that usually leads to wins and with only one time out to burn in that last two minutes.

I see what you did there............ "BLUE" it.

Iowa's last final four only had one legit star and that was Ronnie Lester. The rest were just regular average players at best. Lute knew how to get the best out of his players and taught them to play as a team. I see that in Ben.

Yep that's what I get while trying to post on my iPhone. The ad ware on my iPhone when visiting Hawkeye Nation is among the worst I have seen on any of the sports cites I visit. Ads on the top, bottom, and sides on my iPhone. This causes issues when you go to choose the different forums. Jumps...

“This is no Charlie Brown”

I didn’t know Ohio Stste was one of his options. Can’t blame the kid for wanting to play for a national title over playing for 8 to 9 wins every season. :(

I am going with good news.

This is more like it! flight leaving Salt Lake City in a few minutes. I catch the second half later on in Seattle.

Ohhhhh Nooooooo, not "AI" .......... sorry couldn't resist that one. Doesn't Daughtry have a campus visit soon?

hopefully they improve rapidly

I couldn’t agree more. God help us when we play Michigan and Ohio State.

I am happy for kicker. My kicker isn’t doing so good with these damn games against ISU.
