There is not a human being walking the planet that will make Iowa sniff a wrestling championship again unless we bet a billionaire to fund the program. Penn state is going to win every one with the odd year off as long as the sport exists.

I think being able to have players sign multi year contracts would help. Then it’s not the Wild West every year. It would help the programs like Iowa who can sign project guys and not worry about losing them.

Speaking for myself the PSU brought a bitter taste of here we go again that has followed this program for decades now. Seems like they turn a corner but by season end the same lifeless effort and dumb mistakes. We limp into the tournament if we make it and get wrecked and that’s that.

Punt returning is mostly quickness and he’s got it. He should be a solid ST guy for a while, maybe a sweep on offense here and there.

I frankly don’t see the point of having a baseball team. We will never compete in that sport absent an Iowa booster finding the philosopher’s stone.
