Now 2-26, over a loooong stretch of time, only a small bit of which they've been D-I. I think this SDSU team would win a few games in the B10 this year, obviously they don't have the bigs to contend.

They started the transition in 2004, so they are fully D-I by now. They're FCS in football, like UNI.

Looking at the P-C pics from old media days, I kind of liked the 50's unis with the huge "I" on the shorts. I'd guess that's what we wore in the '56 NC game vs San Francisco.

I was wondering about that. Lots of Nike teams seem to get new unis every year, coaching change or no. Of course a change could be for the worse. Still hoping for gold numbers on the black roadies!

I liked the old Commings-era fake punt, where the punter jumps and turns as though the snap went past him. Meanwhile, the back that actually got the ball stays put until a hole opens up. Once a season is plenty, though. ;)
