It is frustrating how superior Wisconsin's coaches are than Iowa's in major sports. Greg Gard gets crucified from all angles and...wins the B1G. Iowa keeps the same guys, and Wisconsin has repeated turnover and SOMEHOW finds better coaches every time.

Looking a lot like Iowa loses out, loses their first B1G tournament game and ends up in another 8/9 game. In other words, Fran found the National Player of the Year....AND STILL found his ceiling as a coach. That's why it's called a ceiling.

That's the most improbable win I've seen Iowa get in years. Didn't play well, did nothing right beyond Kreiner stepping up and Garza being Garza, REALLY questionable coaching decisions, and smash-and-grabbed a win. That's also the kind of loss that could get Pitino fired at the end of the year...

This is correct. We've heard "next year" for a lot of years. Waiting to fix recruiting, waiting for his kids to get on the roster, now waiting for injuries to heal. If this team can't break the ceiling next year, there's no more waiting for anything else. We officially know what Fran's ceiling...

Jesus, 22 minutes of Evelyn and 18 of Pemsl. That's absolutely brutal. But I don't know that there's an alternative. I'd rather see Ash for like 10 of that, but I don't think anyone agrees.
