No one seems to have mentioned that this kid played at Sunrise and was probably coached by Coach Barnwell. That has to play a part. Barnwell could've convinced the staff this kid could play in the B1G. And, I'm guessing the price was right.

I'd guess she understands she'll have to compete for minutes, let along start. Too bad she's not a couple inches taller. One thing I'll say is she certainly doesn't lack confidence in her game. That's a good thing.

Ben also keeps saying his players have to be humble and willing to serve. In this day and age this seems like it could be a pretty tall order. Plus being to play in the B1G!!

In listening to a couple of Ben's interviews, he's been pretty consistent in saying the first criteria they look at in a recruit, no matter what the situation is, can they play in the B1G. So, any high school or portal guy yet to come in will have to pass that test. I have no problem with that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Badara Diakite ended up going to Penn, that is if he can get in.
