Wolfie, my take on Keno...he was the recipient of the perfect storm. Other than Josh Young, no one on the team was considered a "big get" as a recruit. Cox, Houston, Koever, AE...all we huge surprises during that magical run. Mr. Davis laid the groundwork, and probably wishes he wasn't "nudged" out the door, which he was. Keno deserves alot of the props though. He meshed a few of his ideas with what worked for Dad. Unless you were in DSM that year, it's hard to fathom what that team meant to the city and Drake's alumni. I talked to old friends and classmates that season I hadn't thought about in twenty years. Was forced to "upgrade" my cell phone plan due to the Dogs success. Keno now is in the real world...without his Fathers base, and in a league that gives no favors. Providence is a place where you win big one season...and you use that as a springboard to a better opportunity. That said, even with Keno's incoming class, I'm surprised he passed on Iowa.
