Here's what jumps out at me. We've got 12 men on offense. We should be really, REALLY good if the referee's aren't too observant. :D

'If properly executed' is the operative with ANY sports play I suppose. It bolsters my point in that it's a lot harder to execute a play 'properly' than the casual fan realizes. Were that not the case, teams would be scoring well over 50% of their offensive possessions...and to my knowledge...

My thoughts on this game are that I'm gonna sit back, enjoy every second, not go ballistic if we happen to lose, and relish the opportunity to make some waves on the national stage should we win. Just flat looking forward to the game... and let the chips fall where they may. GOOOO HAWKS!!

And we all know that opposing players never fight over or thru screens and continue to guard a player. I forgot. :rolleyes:

MAYBE the refs were feeling a bit sheepish about calling Clemmons for the foul at the end of regulation and decided to let the players determine the outcome after that. No opinion on if it was or wasn't, but it didn't seem to affect the shot imo. This reminds me of the old tale about the...

It does make the disappointment a bit harder to swallow. We kicked the ever lovin' crap out of both of them...not only on our floor but on their home courts! Also having a bit of a hard time with Purdue and Wisconsin playing in Des Moines. We had it right there...damn it!

This morning Palm has Iowa at a 6 seed and Purdue at a 4. Anyone else having a problem with that besides me? Either we're too low or Purdue is too high imo. PU's only 4-3 in their last 7 games. Not exactly tearing it up.

You are assuming Purdue automatically wins their 5 12/13 match up I guess.
