Well, at least you're consistent. I applaud your optimism, but...I am staunch in my belief that you are totally wrong.
Time will tell, I guess.
 


I understand where you are at. When I mentioned that KoK was leaving on here, and got mightily crucified, until it proved to be true, I had also mentioned that this could be a painful transition.

Team wide, we can play better than we did today. That is on the team. Not any one player, but the team.

Program wide, losses like this, in Iowa's case at least, didn't start today @ 11AM CST, they started in about 2007. Possibly sooner.

I'm a fan. A very disappointed fan, but I see it for what it is. No emotion.
 


Well, I have enough emotion for the both of us. Right now, the emotion is anger.
This is my freakin' school, my freakin' football team. I can not stand what this dipsh!t Ferrets has done to it.

Perhaps I should also toss in the timeless "one definition of insanity, is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result."

Kirk Ferentz is a mediocre coach at best. The fact that we're paying him close to $4 million to lose to Iowa State, Minnesota and teams from the MAC on a consistent basis would be laughable, if it didn't make me so angry.

Hes had his time. The past has shown that Kirk cant hack it. There is nothing that shows he will turn things around.

If the University of Iowa were the federal government, they could just print the money and/or borrow it to buy him out. Unfortunately it is not possible.

KF is a class act and a wonderful representative of Iowa, but when he admitted this week he doesn't understand the youth today and their obsession with the new styles of uniforms, it confirmed what we've known for a while. The game as a whole has passed him by.
