BTW, these schools wouldn't replace ISU, they would be in addition to the Clones.

I don't see the point to pound on the table and argue for something that I know will never happen.

By the time the games were played, there probably wouldn't be Fry proteges coaching there. So I don't see the point.

Fry was very unusual. KF hires existing coaches generally. They don't tend to be Head Coach material (or at least want to be). HF hired hungry young guys wanting to be the boss.

I realize that many Hawkfans want to get rid of this game. But I want to get rid of the MAC and FCS schools first. My thought is, this way those who luv the intrastate rivalry can enjoy the series while those who want an upgrade can enjoy a better OOC.

This guy gets it. My post is not to be taken literally. Obviously the schedule has been set. It's an idea for how the OOC could look different. Think back to the Arizona series where Kirk faced off against Stoops. We split the series but something cool was added to those games.
